Assistant to the Training Coordinator

The incumbent will be involved in the following activities :

Training
Assist with editing of the training brochures, manuals, etc.
Arrange training-related functions and workshops
On-the-job supervision of the Driver / Technical Assistant
Coordinate queries regarding curricula and courses, bursary availability / criteria
Coordinate specifications and purchase of training equipment
Coordinate transport and vehicle maintenance for the training section


Administration
Prepare the minutes Training Committee meetings
Coordinate the Training staff and Course LeadersÆ travel itineraries
Maintain the Training Section filing system
Maintain the training equipment inventory
Maintain the College database
Coordinate the Training CoordinatorÆs daily diary of appointments, meetings, etc.

(Suggested) qualifications, skills, attributes and experience:

A big team player
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Good communication skills
Excellent command of English
A high level of confidentiality
Previous experience in inventories, ordering and purchasing
Computer literacy (spreadsheets, word processing, databases)
Typing 35 w.p.m.
The freedom to travel when required and possibly overnight
